Through our internships scheme, organisations can recruit a PhD researcher to work within their organisation on an area of business need for up to 3 months (full-time).

By hosting an SGSSS intern, your organisation can benefit from:

• Access to specialist knowledge and skills, such as data analysis, research, and methodological evaluation
• Access to our network across 16 universities in Scotland

The scheme is designed to support links between research, the society and the economy, whilst also supporting researchers to gain experience in non-academic organisations, build their sector knowledge, and hone their transferable skills. You can see some examples of recent projects here.
