The SGSSS call for abstracts to take part in the “Shaping the future: rising to the challenges of the climate crisis” event is open!
The UN Climate Change Conference 2021, known as COP26, takes place in Glasgow from 01 to 12 November 2021. To coincide with this momentous occasion, we are delighted to announce that SGSSS invites all social science doctoral researchers in Scotland to express their interest in our related event, Shaping the Future.
This is a great opportunity for you to present the ways in which your doctoral research addresses the climate crisis to students, supervisors, subject matter experts and other invited guests. Additionally, the selected candidates will receive the unique opportunity to benefit from free, tailored professional support to (1) design their presentations and (2) perfect their public speaking skills ahead of the event!
