The Universities of Glasgow and Edinburgh Impact Acceleration Accounts have been awarded Business Boost funding from ESRC to further collaborate with the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (SGSSS-DTP) and the University of Aberdeen to enhance business engagement in the social sciences.

As key partners in the SGSSS-DTP, the three universities have substantial experience in co-developing social science ambitions; this new partnership will ensure the benefits of its joint activities extend across the SGSSS membership. The funding will allow us to capitalise on opportunities coming through ISCF and NPIF as well as to grow collaboration with business more widely among academic staff and PhD students. Look out for awareness raising events, training in business engagement, and funding opportunities for relationship building.
