Widening Access Survey and First Steps towards PhD webinar

Motivated by a commitment to improving equality and diversity, SGSSS is conducting a survey aimed at honours and postgraduate taught students, to gain insight into their experiences of considering, preparing and applying for postgraduate research funding.

The survey hopes to reveal any gaps in how information about funding opportunities and the application process is shared with underrepresented groups, as well as any anxieties or issues within the application process that could be contributing to such underrepresentation in funding awards.

Survey respondents will receive a link to the webinar Starting Your Journey Towards a PhD – First Steps in the Application Process scheduled for Monday 23rd November at 3pm.

If you have given PGR any consideration – whether you are in the process of applying or are still unsure if it’s for you, or how to get started – then you are encouraged to take part using this link.
